From history of creation:

Creation of a display room, to be exact the beginning of gathering of the first exhibits concerns to the end of 40th years. V.P.Glushko gave always special attention to preservation of full size exhibits and mockups of development of the enterprise, both serially made LPRE, and experimental units. In the beginning of 60th years at the enterprise there is a whole exposition of such mockups and units which status has soon been legalized by signing of the order on a display room formation. The exposition of a display room has been finally generated by the end of 60th years when the 40 anniversary from the date of enterprise formation was celebrated, thus the exhibits relating to the pre-war period of activity have been added.

The display room had especially secret mode and the right for visit had only the limited number of experts of the enterprise and visitors. However, all VIP visitors of the enterprise: cosmonauts, representatives of the supreme party and governmental offices always visited a display room.

From the beginning of 90th years the importance of a display room has essentially increased. Delegations of foreign countries began to visit it, to be conduct presentations and negotiations. The display room was visited by delegations of all main aerospace companies of the world, other business partners of NPO ENERGOMASH. Among visitors there were heads of national space agencies, members of the governments, ambassadors and employees of embassies of some countries, presidents of the largest world aerospace companies. In total representatives approximately 20 countries of the world have visited display room.

On April, 11th, 1996 display room was visited by the President of Russia B.N.Eltsin during the visit on NPO ENERGOMASH. He has examined an exposition of a display room, getting acquainted with the basic development of the enterprise. During visit he saw fragments from documentary films about development of NPO ENERGOMASH.

MODERN ACTIVITY :

Now great scientifically-educational work are conducted by employees of a department of the information of the enterprise: lectures on history of the enterprise and features of development of LPRE for a various audience are read: from students of domestic and foreign universities and institutes up to schoolboys of high school and members of children's technical societies and clubs.

In a display room there are the videofilms made specially under order of NPO ENERGOMASH:

1. Film about development of RD-170 engine in two variants (short - 8 minutes and long - 20 minutes).

2. Film «Master of fire», devoted to the 90 anniversary of academician V.P.Glushko birthday (duration of 47 minutes).

3. Film, devoted to the 50 anniversary of the experimental plant of NPO ENERGOMASH counting the history from date of formation of a plant №456 in Khimky - since 1942.

4. Film «Academician Glushko and his time» (5 series for 26 minutes everyone), devoted to the general designer academician V.P.Glushko, and also past works of NPO ENERGOMASH in 90th years.

5. Collection of the videofilms, kept in a display room, includes also the various films devoted to various achievements in space-rocket branch, and also separate records of telereportings on these subjects. Among videofilms there are and some the presentation videofilms presented by the foreign companies

How to visit a display room:

For display room of the enterprise visiting the letter with the request for visiting by group of employees of the organization (pupils of school or institute, etc.) with the indication of desirable time for visiting is necessary to send to address of the general director. It is necessary to apply the list of group to the letter with the indication of passport data (for minor schoolboys - only the list of group). Such letter should arrive in NPO ENERGOMASH 1-2 weeks prior to date of visiting for groups of citizens of the Russian Federation, for groups with foreign citizens - 2,5 months prior to date of visiting. Final time and date of visiting will be agreeed in the working order by employees of a display room by phone with the contact person of the organization (schools, etc.) specified in the letter.
