August 14, 2010 at 07:07 local time (15:07 Moscow time) Atlas V AV-019 launcher with AEHF-1 communications satellite launched from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida, USA. 51 min 6 sec after the launch the satellite separated from the launch vehicle (LV) and orbited into near-earth orbit. Russian RD-180 engine of OAO "NPO Energomash" production was installed in the LV first stage.

      This launch represented the 28th consecutive successful Atlas launch vehicle and engine RD-180 mission and the 3rd successful launch in 2010. Next launch of Atlas V LV with engine RD-180 is scheduled for September 20, 2010 from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California.
